Through a partnership project with the Center for Historic Preservation and as the capstone project for Essentials in Museum Management taught by Dr. Carroll Van West, I collaborated with four other students to produce the Cannonsburgh Village Museum and Collections Assessment Report, which assessed the collections of the museum, providing recommendations for collection management policy, re-interpretating the museum exhibits, and new utilization of space. I contributed to the collection survey, identifying key themes, formatting the survey, and providing recommendations of using the facilities, such as how to restructure the exhibit floor, use of the furnished homes on-site, and ways to create an exhibit for the upcoming 250th, which was the original idea for the project.
